Monsters On Main

Sculptures made for the yearly Arts Council of Southwestern Indian show Monsters On Main. Creatures were sculpted, molded, then cast in resin and assembled to be part of this show.

This character was inspired by the Japanese folklore of tsukumogami and oni. It is built on a base of cardboard and upcycled wood, details are sculpted in Smooth-on Freeform Air, finishing details were painted with acrylic.
